Previous supporters like Andreessen Horowitz, 8VC, and Franklin Templeton returned for this round. Saronic specializes in manufacturing autonomous surface vessels—commonly known as drone boats. The company’s product portfolio spans from the compact six-foot Spyglass to the substantial Marauder, a 40-metric-ton, 180-foot ship constructed at their Franklin, Louisiana facility. The U.S. Navy recognized Saronic’s capabilities in December 2024 by awarding the company a $392 million contract to manufacture its 24-foot Corsair vessel.
